This is a big one for me … a return to Columbia on the exact spot where I worked as a sous chef for many years. Many moons ago I worked for Clyde’s of Columbia at a time when they added a new little family restaurant next door called the Tomato Palace. I helped open that restaurant. Years later Clyde’s turned it into a music venue called the Soundry which I had the pleasure of playing once with the Jose Ramirez Band. The venue has since changed ownership and is now called the Collective Encore, but they kept the same great sound/lights and the venue is outstanding! Whiskey Feathers is opening the night for us.
